Directions

  1. Beat egg whites and salt at a high speed until stiff but not dry.
  2. Add sugar gradually.
  3. Beat 5 minutes longer or until very stiff.
  4. Fold in vanilla, chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candy.
  5. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 250 degrees about 45 minutes.
