  1. True chocolate lovers always like homemade chocolate pudding and this one was no exception! We inhaled it and ate enough for 4 people, though there was just 2 of us! No more store bought crap for us, this is it from now on!

  2. I too cut the recipe in half because I didn't have 5 cups of sugar. It still made a whole lot! My kids love the taste of this pudding! I think that instead of goody bags for my daughters classmates at Christmas, we will give put this mix in a cellophane back, tie with a ribbon, and attach a card with the directions to make the pudding!

  3. My family loved this!! We much prefer cooked pudding over instant, and "made from scratch" pudding is even better. It cooked up thick and creamy, with a light chocolate taste. I did have to cook it about 35-40 minutes before it came to a boil, but that could have been due to my stove's "low" setting being lower than most. Also, this seemed to make a lot of dry mix, so I 1/4 the dry ingredients because I didn't want to make that much. I really liked the fact that you can make up a batch of the dry ingredients ahead of time to make when needed. Thank you for this wonderful recipe...it is definitely a keeper.

  4. Sounds like something I used to have as a child...called "Angels delight", but you could include some sort of serving suggestions :)
