  • Whisk together evaporated milk and egg yolks in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is very hot and thickens slightly; do not boil. Remove from heat; stir in morsels until completely melted and mixture is smooth.
  • Pour into crust; refrigerate 3 hours until firm. Top with whipped cream before serving. Sprinkle with nuts.

  1. I was hoping this would satisfy my craving for Marie Callender's chocolate satin pie, but it did not. It really just tastes like I'm eating a big hunk of softer semisweet chocolate chips. I am all for rich chocolate foods, but I felt like this wasn't very flavorful. It needs something besides just chocolate chips. I'm not sure exactly what. Maybe different kinds of chocolate? Heavy cream instead of evaporated milk? Maybe I will experiment with it.

Her sweets are fantastics, especially her pound cakes, Yummm <br> <br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
