Chocolate-Scented Play Dough (Non-Edible)

"I use this frequently in the classroom-- smells great, but it probably wouldn't make a very good snack...lol... Provide cookie cutters and rolling pins. I have them keep this dough contained to a plastic tray or cutting board for easier cleanup. Store in a plastic ziplock bag or resealable container for 5 days."

  1. My 4yo loved it! He happily made "cookies" for a long time after we mixed it up. It smells great. The only con was that it was a little on the dry side for us. I had to add a little extra water to get the right consistancy and it still wasn't as smooth as other playdoughs we've made. (Our favorite is #87651) We will be making this again though!

  2. I hate to give a bad review as the first review! The idea was wonderful and as I was mixing it I had trouble not tasting it even though I knew it would be gross. It smelled sooo good! My problem is that since making I have added 3 extra cups of flour to it. No matter how much I have added it gets sticky again within a couple of minutes. If there is a trick please let me know and I will try it again and re review it.

I am a preschool teacher in Florida, here since marrying my hubby in Sept of '04. I have a stepdaughter. No kiddos of our own unless you count those with fur :-) We have 2 cats and 2 dogs who think they are cats. We are inovoled with our church and with our local American Legion post, where I cook breakfast once a month for the community, so I am always looking for new and fun breakfast/brunch ideas.
