  • chop two onions and mince the garlic.
  • In a large pot fry the onions and garlic lightly.
  • add the meat for a few minutes.
  • shut off flame and add the rest of the ingredients.
  • add water to cover and boil.
  • let simmer for as long as possible checking the water level from time to time.
  • for best results use a slow cooker (crockpot).
