  • Preheat oven 400°.
  • Remove sausage from casings and shape into 6 burgers.
  • Place a tablespoon or so of minced pepper in center of each burger and press into meat.
  • Combine sauce and cilantro and spoon over burgers.
  • Bake uncovered, basting occasionally, for 20-25 minutes, or until completely cooked.
  • Place a piece of cheese on top of each burger just before serving.
