Christie's Spaghetti and Meatballs

"This has been a firm favourite of mine since I was a little girl. This recipe is from a New Zealander ( "kiwi" ) so the measurements are not standard US ones. 500 grams is roughly a pound. 1 cup is 250ml. Garlic, Salt and Pepper are to taste. I make the meatballs about the size of a walnut."

  1. These were interesting meatballs, thought I wouldn't care for the mincemeat but it was quite good. I used homemade tomato sauce and it turned out fine. Next time I will leave out the Ketchup, as I found it a little too sweet for my taste. But will try again. Made for PAC Spring '09
