- 1 lb honey
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch coriander
- 1 pinch ground ginger
- 1 pinch allspice
- 1 pinch cardamom
- 1 teaspoon fine white pepper
- 6 2⁄3 cups all-purpose flour

For Frosting
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 3 -4 tablespoons water
directions
- To make cookie dough, warm honey over low heat until liquid; pour into a large bowl. Stir in sugar, eggs, baking soda and all spices listed.
- Mix in flour gradually.
- Knead throughly to make a dough.
- Preheat oven to 375º. Grease baking sheets or line with parchment paper.
- Form dough into small balls about 1" across and place on cookie sheets. Bake 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a rack.
- To make frosting, blend confectioners' sugar and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Coat cookies with hot frosting.

I likes these cookies! I made them for this years christmas cookie swap and of course had to sample them! lol I didn't have an coriander, so I substituted cumin, and I couldn't find white pepper at my store, so I left it out. Even though I didn't have everything stated, these were well liked in my home.
