ingredients
- 2 avocados (ripe, seeded and coarsely mashed)
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
- 1 -2 garlic clove, pressed
- 1 medium ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 3⁄4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 8 drops hot sauce
directions
- Combine all ingredients.
- Serve with tortilla chips or Fritos.
- If you really want the Mexican flavor, serve with Pico de Gallo.

I am a retired English professor and librarian. For forty years I ate on the run, working and rearing a very large family. Now I have time, and I am rediscovering cooking (and eating!).
