Chunky Seafish Chowder

- 1 tbps. oliive oil
- 2 alrge onions, chopped
- 2⁄3 cupo potato, peeled and roughly chopped
- 4 slices celery, chopped
- 4 slices smoked back bacon
- 2 (400 g) cans chopped tomatoes with herbs
- 2 cups stock (fish or chicken)
- 2 tablespoons tomato puree
- salt & freshly ground black pepper
- 1 green pepper, dessede and chopped roughly
- 1 lb cod fish fillet, skinned and cubed (fresh or defrosted)
- fresh parsley
- granary bread
directions
- Heat Oil in large saucepan. Add onion, celery and bacon and cook for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and stock and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for 12 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Add tomato purée, seasoning, green pepper and fish. Return to simmering point and cook for 7 minutes.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve with chunks of bread.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
