“Oh, I love this one so bad. It's our favorite during the fall days and is a sure crowd-pleaser, too. Got it from McCormick. I normally make a very thick vanilla sauce to go with it. I really hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do. I sometimes add rum soaked raisins to the mix and the nuts of choice in my home are pecans (being in Texas).”

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 12 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) can apple pie filling
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 12 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 (12 ounce) can refrigerated biscuits
  • 12 cup nuts, chopped

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter; stir in sugar, apple pie filling, cinnamon and vanilla.
  3. Spread 1/2 the mix into a shallow 2 quart baking dish.
  4. Separate the biscuits and cut into quarters.
  5. Arrange pieces, points up over the mixture.
  6. Spoon the remaining mixture over the "biscuit-peaks" and sprinkle with nuts.

  8. Let rest for 5-10 minutes.
  9. Serve warm.
