"I found this recipe last fall in a seasonal Betty Crocker recipe book and finally made it this year. I wish I had made it sooner! If you love cinnamon buns but don't want to spend the time making them, this is the recipe for you! Super easy and absolutely delicious!"

  • Bottom Layer

  • 1 (18 1/4 ounce) package betty crocker supermoist butter recipe yellow cake mix
  • 12 cup butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 eggs
  • Topping

  • 34 cup packed brown sugar
  • 13 cup caramel topping
  • 13 cup butter, melted
  • 34 cup pecans, chopped
  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In large bowl, beat cake mix, softened butter, milk, and eggs with electric mixer on medium speed about 1 minute or until blended. Spread evenly in pan.
  • In medium bowl, mix brown sugar, caramel topping, melted butter, pecans, and cinnamon. Drop by spoonfuls on top of batter and spread evenly.
  • Bake 25-28 minutes or until topping is deep golden brown and slightly puffed throughout. Cool completely, about 1 hour. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows. Store covered. (Tip: To easily cut these bars, spray the knife with cooking spray so it doesn't stick.).
