DOUGH
- 1 1⁄4 cups warm water
- 3 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons nonfat dry milk powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 1⁄4 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

FILLING
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup nuts, chopped

TOPPING
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons milk
directions
- Mix and knead all DOUGH ingredients together to make a smooth dough.
- Cover and let raise for 1 hour until puffy.
- Roll the dough into an 18" x 18" rectangle.
- Mix FILLING ingredients together. Lightly brush dough with milk and then spread with the prepared filling, leaving an uncovered strip about 1" wide along one end.
- Roll tightly into a log, starting with filling-covered end and opposite the unfilled end.Slice the log onto 12 pieces. Place slices onto a lightly greased wells of a muffin pan.Cover and let the buns rise until puffy, about 60 minutes.
- Bake the buns in a preheated 350`F oven for 20 to 24 minutes, until they're a light golden brown Remove from the oven.
- Just before serving mix TOPPING ingredients together until smooth. Spoon over the buns.
