  1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 12x18-in jelly roll pan.
  3. Cook butter and brown sugar over low heat in a saucepan, until it comes to a boil; remove from heat, and cool.
  4. In a med bowl, stir together the butter mixture, eggs and vanilla.
  5. Sift flour baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
  6. Stir into the egg mixture until well blended.
  7. Stir in pecans.
  8. Spread the batter onto prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 25 mins.
  10. Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the whole sheet.
  11. Let stand for 5 mins.
  12. Spread the chocolate evenly over the entire surface.
  13. Cut into squares.
