Citrus Sangria

"I only had white wine and I wanted sangria. I created this one. It's not very sweet. I used a sangria glass and I added 6-8 small ice cubes (mine are not cube LOL). You can use a pitcher or a measuring cup if you're not sure if it will fit in your glass. I used lime and mandarin vodka. You can use orange vodka, lemon vodka... Or maybe cranberry vodka."

  1. Great stuff, Boomie. I tripled this to use up some white wine that was hanging out in my fridge, needing to be used up. I didn't have and grapefruit juice on hand, so I just doubled the pineapple, and added a splash of Rose's sweetened lime juice. This is a really refreshing, not too sweet white sangria that I think I'll end up making often.

  2. *Made for Australia/NZ Swap #66*. I love tart, but just couldn't get the right combo of sweetener and fruit to overcome the tang. Did find Mandarin vodka, but never lime. Used plain vodka with juice of 1/2 lime. I think a different combo of fruits with this liquid could be very tasty -- wish I had had some very ripe cantaloupe and fresh pineapple. Thanks for posting, Boomette.
