  • Steam clams, remove and chop. Wash the shells and let them dry.
  • Slice bacon into small pieces and brown. Drain and set aside. Remove bacon fat and melt butter. Add onions (until translucent) and peppers. Add seasoned salt and Tabasco to taste.
  • Remove from heat add bacon and clams. Slowly add bread crumbs until the butter is incorporated. Try not to use a lot of bread crumb.
  • Stuff the clam shells. Add some lemon juice on each and broil 15 minutes (top will brown).
