  1. Simply delicious. I added 1 cup chopped walnuts. Frosted them with vanilla buttercream frosting topped with chopped walnuts. Posted a picture. This one is a keeper. Better than banana bread.

  2. Very good cake like cookie. I made it with the recipe ingredients and added 1/2 cup each of raisins, chopped walnuts, chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Increased the vanilla to 2 teaspoons and baked at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Will make this cookie again.

  3. The recipe was easy to make and the cookies were yummy...like little rounds of Banana Bread.

  4. Second batch came out more like a tea biscuit as i added 1 cup of bisquick half cup oats 1 half cup raisins first batch was original recipe and taste more like a bread or cake.As u see theres room for more i added one more bananna for the last batch. BON APETIT

  5. Found this recipe, made a double batch with frozen bananas, so I added an additional tsp of baking powder and 1 cup of additional flour, as the frozen bananas made it wetter, more like banana bread batter. I added 1 cup of walnuts and 2 tsp cinnamon ( double batch, mind you). We like the cakiness that the cookies turned out to be and the flavor. I do intend to do a powdered sugar glaze on them when they cool.

Tweaks

  1. I added chocolate chips...mmmmm!

  2. The tweaks were the best part of the fun

  3. Second batch turned out more like a tea biscuit as i added 1 cup of bisquick and 1/2 cup of oatmeal 1/4 raisins. The first batch seems more like break or cake. And since theres more leftover i added 1 more banana to the last batch BON APETIT.

  4. Switched out the plain white flour for 1 cup white, ½ cup oats, ½ cup whole wheat and ¼ cup bran. Also added a cup of chocolate chips and definitely could cut the sugar to ¾ cup. Also, chilled the dough in the freezer for 20 minutes before baking so they wouldn't fall flat. Delicious!
