Best Cleaning Silver

"I have some rather large pieces of silver....some of them dating back to l884 that have been passed down through the family! This was enough to clean 2 large trays, 2 mugs, a 4 peice tea set and a pitcher."

  • Place the aluminum foil on the bottom of the sink and add baking soda and salt.
  • Add your silver and fill the sink with hot water until all pieces are submerged. Let the pieces soak for 30 minutes. Note: My trays are bigger than my sink, so I turned the tray half way through.
  • Remove the silver from the water and buff with a soft cloth.
