"YEAH!!!!I finally found my recipe for Coke Cola Cake. Apparently I originally found it and then re-found it on All Recipe submitted by Ellen Champagne or maybe not. It is a wonderful cake, moist and chocolately. And it does not even remotely taste like a cake from a mix. Just as good as Cracker Barrel's."

18 ¹⁄₄ ounces white cake mix
1 cup Coca-Cola, not diet
2 eggs
¹⁄₂ cup buttermilk
¹⁄₂ cup butter, melted
¹⁄₄ cup baking cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ¹⁄₂ cups miniature marshmallows
FUDGE FROSTING
¹⁄₄ cup baking cocoa
¹⁄₂ cup butter, cut into small cubes
¹⁄₃ cup cola, not diet
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup chopped pecans, toasted (optional)

directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl combine cake mix, cola, buttermilk, melted butter, cocoa, and vanilla extract.
Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes.
Fold marshmallows into batter.
Grease a 13 x 9 pan.
Pour batter into pan.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on a wire rack for 15 minutes.
In the meantime, combine cocoa and butter in a saucepan.
Cook over low heat until butter melts.
Stir in cola and stir until blended.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add confectioners sugar.
Stir until smooth.
Fold in pecans if using.
Spread over cake.
Let stand 20 minutes before cutting.
