  • Melt beeswax over low heat with the water.
  • Blend in cocoa butter until smooth.
  • Slowly mix in oils.
  • Pour into glass jar.
  • This lotion will thicken as it cools.

  1. I love all the ingredients but I'm just not sure what purpose the water serves in this recipe. I've made similar recipes that don't call for water. I did put it in though since it was called for but it didn't blend well and ended up making the whole thing runny and separated. I just dumped the water off and still came away with a lovely balm. I'm giving it to my cousin for her pregnant belly and I'm sure she'll love it! So my advice: omit the water and when you're measuring the cocoa butter and beeswax, pack it down a bit for a thicker consistency.
