Coffee Foot Soak

"A recipe that I adopted, this is what the original description stated "This is the latest trend in specialized pedicures. Any kind of foot soak is good, but when you need a boost, coffee seems to soothe and stimulate feet. My aesthetician, Josephine Chinea of Curandero Cures, Inc. at www.stressshop.com, assisted me with measurements"."

  1. I made this using hot, not warm water, and throughly enjoyed the experience. A great way to relax after a day of hiking and travel. My one addition to the treatment, which comes from viewing a clip on the Food Network, about spa treatments offered at the Hershey Spa. After letting my feet soak in the coffee bath, I used the grounds as a natural exfolliant. Wonderful addition and one to be tried.

  2. A nice hot soak stimulates me anyway; the smell of the coffee would stimulate my sense of smell and mask funky foot smells. I followed this treatment with Recipe #279850 #279850. (And then took a shower and used Recipe #107722 #107722.) Made for January 2009 Comfort Cafe.

  3. Very soothing. Like the other reviewer, I too am not sure what stimulated feet feel like. But it was still nice to be able to sit back and just relax. Thanks for posting! Made and reviewed for 1-2-3 Hit wonders tag game.

  4. I got to sit back and relax to comfort of heated feet and the soothing smell of coffee! I really enjoyed it and thus far the "dogs" are quiet! I have a bad foot so this was a must try. As stated in the description, my feet are soothed, but I'm not quite sure about stimulated. What does stimulated feet feel like (lol)? Still great and a definite do again! Thank you for being a great adoptive parent Laurielie41!!!
