Coffeemaker Mochaccino Frappe

"If you are like me you probably don't have espresso or espresso powder on hand. This recipe tastes like "that" coffee chain's blended cold drink, but you can use your coffee maker and save yourself the almost 8 dollars you would spend for the yield of 2 servings in this recipe."

  1. I'm in frappe heaven! I reduced the amounts for just one serving and still had plenty. I used skim milk, fat-free half & half and Splenda to cut calories. This will be my drink of choice on hot summer days! Thanks!

  2. absolutely yummy (according to my DH!!)... I made this using a dark roast blend coffee, that is what we use every day, with a combo of 1/2 cup of half and half and 1-1/2 cups 2% milk, this was such a delicious treat, I will be for sure making this again (this weekend LOL!)...thanks Shimmerchk for sharing such a wonderful treat!...Kittencal:)

  3. Excellent!! My kids loved this and begged me to make a second batch. I didn't have any half-and-half at home so I substituted 2% milk instead. I'll definitely be making this again. Thanks for posting this yummy recipe.

I do tweak things a lot to suit my families taste, but other than that I rely on recipes for ideas and technique. I find most of my own recipes have been posted in some form or another here, but I look forward to having more to add in the future. <br />I am an avid baker and also love international foods.
