  1. I used b/s chicken thighs but otherwise followed the recipe. These were so easy to make and the longer they simmered the more tender they got. Will make this dish again! Made for All You Can Cook Buffet.

  2. Really loved this chicken! It was like barbecued chicken but very moist and tender. I used Dr. Pepper as the cola and it really gave a wonderful flavor. So simple to make too...thanks for posting!

  3. Tasty. I used diet cola and was prepared to add brown sugar if needed but the sauce was as sweet as I would want. We really enjoyed the sauce and might try it on ribs or chicken on the grill.

  4. In the past I've made a similar Weight Watchers recipe using just diet coke and ketchup, no seasonings at all and also without the onions (which turned out to be an added plus). Last night I used regular coke. The sauce thickened very nicely so I didn't add the cornstarch and water (steps 4 and 5). However, it also reduced 'very fast' so I made more sauce, which I just poured over the partially cooked chicken. I don't know if the thickening and the fast reduction was because I used regular coke or not because my recipe never did either, but it turned out beautifully. Will surely be making this again.
