ingredients
- 1 large carrot
- 1 cup cabbage
- 3⁄4 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup white sugar
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
directions
- Peel the carrot and grate it. Grate the cabbage.
- Mix the mayonnaise, sugar, salt and black pepper.
- Add the mayonnaise paste to the shredded carrot and cabbage.
- Mix well.
- Chill in refrigerator.

I really enjoyed this recipe and doubled it. At firs, I kind of liked the idea of making the mayonnaise pasty with sugar, but it as it turned out I think a little less sugar would have sufficed.
