- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 -2 garlic clove
- 1 medium onion
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can tomato soup
- 2 cups beef broth
- 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 1 1⁄2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
directions
- Brown the beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic, onion, and bell pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add the tomato soup, beef broth, soy sauce, and stir.
- Lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add the macaroni and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring OFTEN so that the pasta doesn't stick to the pan.
- Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top, and when it is melted, it is ready to serve!
