Comforting Cabbage Jambalaya

  • Chop up the celery, onion, bell pepper and cabbage and put in a large pot.
  • Add the tomato sauce and the chicken broth.
  • Add your seasonings (garlic, Cajun seasoning and Season All).
  • Fill the pot with enough water to cover all the ingredients, then stir.
  • Bring to a boil, cover and then simmer for 1 hour.
  • Add the rice, and an additional cup of water, re-cover, bring to a boil and simmer for 25 minutes.
  • Cut the Kielbasa and chicken into bite sized pieces and brown in a frying pan, add the Kielbasa and chicken to the pot when the rice is done cooking, stir.
  • Cool off and enjoy!
