Cool and Creamy Mountain Dew Salad
"I've had this recipe since right after highschool, so I have no idea where it came from! It's just a very simple salad, that I still happen to love to this day! Pretty pastel colors, too!"

- 1 (6 ounce) package lemon Jell-O gelatin (Jell-o)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 (12 ounce) can Mountain Dew soda, cold
- 1 (15 ounce) can pineapple chunks, or tidbits drained save juice
- 1 (3 ounce) box lemon pudding mix, cook and serve NOT instant
- 1 cup Cool Whip
- 1 cup mini rainbow marshmallows
directions
- Cook pudding according to package directions. Cover top of pudding with plastic wrap to prevent top from forming that rubbery layer on top. Place in fridge and chill.
- Dissolve lemon jello in boiling water, add mountain dew and juice from pineapple. Chill until it starts to thicken but not set.
- Mix jello, pudding and cool whip with electric mixer.
- Fold in pineapple and marshmallows, pour into large bowl and chill.
- Serve and enjoy!
