“Make sure the bananas are ripe (not over-ripe though), makes it more tasteful. I made this as a dessert and froze it in 4 individual small bowls. Eaten as a snack (in between everything else.....) it'll probably serve 2. I also garnished it with some chocolate chips and a little chopped nuts. Freezing time is not included in prep. time.”

Directions

  1. Peel and slice the bananas, put them in the blender.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and blend together on high speed until thick and creamy.
  3. Scrape mixture into a container, or individual small bowls, and freeze.
  4. Before serving, move the ice cream from the freezer to refrigerator for 20 minutes to soften it slightly.
