Found this and immediately made it for dinner. My kids LOVE grilled cheese and "lava". I made it with rice milk. It was a hit! I don't think I'll ever buy the canned version again. We are trying to be dairy, corn, soy and wheat free in our house due to allergies, so we couldn't just buy a can of campbell's tomato soup and add milk like we used to. So glad our old favorite "easy" dinner has returned to our house again. Thank you for posting this. :)

This tastes JUST LIKE the stuff in the can without all the extra ingredients! My daughter has a lot of food allergies (milk, wheat, soy) and we have this family favorite recipe that calls for condensed tomato soup. This is just like the real thing! Thank you! By the way, the favorite family recipe is Easy Shepherd's pie - brown 1 - 1 1/2 lbs hamburger (or turkey), drain it, add 1 -2 cans of drained green beans, stir in 1 can of condensed tomato soup. Simmer until warmed through. Serve over mashed potatoes. Sounds too easy, right? My whole family craves this and its healthier than any boxed dinner! Thanks again!

I am a SAHM who loves to cook for my small family! I have a 14 month old daughter, a wonderful husband, a seven year-old Keeshond and a cat named Rex Manly.
I really just love this website! I visit it practically every weekday for ideas and recipes and try to always post a review of everything I make from Zaar. The only time I don't is when I have a negative reaction to a recipe that was due to my mistake or if I have substituted so many ingredients that it wouldn't be a fair review. Thanks to all of you wonderful cooks who have made me a better cook myself!
