Cosmopolitan
"Last year I organised a 'Sex & the City' evening with some girls and made a huge amount of this Cosmopolitan for them. And yes, we had a lot of fun...The recipe source (www.perfectdrinks.de) claims that you need to use a lemon wodka for a traditional cosmopolitan. However, I couldn't find any and it still tasted great. It also says that by replacing the cointreau with triple sec your drink will become more boring. The recipe is for one cocktail only."

ingredients
- 30 ml Absolut citron vodka
- 10 ml Cointreau liqueur
- 10 ml fresh lime juice
- 20 ml cranberry juice
- 5 -6 ice cubes
directions
- Keep all ingredients in the fridge for a few hours.
- Shake with 5-6 ice cubes and sieve into a cocktail glass.
- Enjoy.

Excellent cosmopolitan. I love mixing drinks for family and friends and this combination of sweetness and tartness is perfect for most people. I tripled the recipe for two martini glasses. Thank you tigerduck for posting this recipe. -

Of all the Cosmopolitan recipes I've tried this weekend, this is hands down the best. It's got yummy taste, but not overpowered by the alcohol. I changed the measurements from metric, and just eliminated the "1/16" measurement from each ingredient. It was still quite potent and delicious. -
