ingredients
- 1 cup Crisco
- 1 cup sugar
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 2 3⁄4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 cup nuts
directions
- combine ingredients, chill overnight.
- roll into small balls and roll in powdered sugar.
- bake on greased cookie sheet.at 350* for 11 minutes.

These should be "No Egg" Cottage cheese cookies. Sometimes I have a craving for cookies, but am out of eggs... This would be a perfect recipe for those times.

I love cooking, and reading Christian fiction..I have 5 grandchildren..4 boys and 1 spoiled granddaughter...I also have a black cocker spaniel named Tobey..who is very spoiled..Love computer games, cross stitch and reading cookbooks..I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia almost a year ago, on September 26, 2005....was in an out of the hospital for 8 months, doing intensive chemo...I am doing well now, thanks for all the prayers...
