  1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In large bowl combine 1/2 cup ketchup, tomato juice, salt, black and red peppers, eggs, bread crumbs, onions and mustard. Mix until thoroughly blended.
  3. Add ground beef. Mix gently but thoroughly.
  4. Line a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with foil. Press in the beef mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, 2/3 cup ketchup, ginger, soy sauce and mustard. Spread over top of loaf.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until done.
  7. Drain off fat. Rest meat loaf 5 minutes before serving.
