  1. Boil potatoes.
  2. Peel and grate potatoes.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  4. Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  5. Layer ingredients in this order.
  6. 1/2 of grated potates.
  7. 1 cup sour cream.
  8. 1 cup cheddar cheese.
  9. 1/4 teaspoon salt.
  10. 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
  11. Repeat layers once more.
  12. Drizzle 1/4 cup margarine over top.
  13. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minute.
  14. or until hot.
