  1. Family loved it. Easy to make and good flavor.

  2. I used to do the recipe with the Knorr Spring Vegetable Mix.. When I couldn't find the Spring Vegetable, I used the Knorr Vegetable Recipe mix instead. Did everything the same as before and it came out great. Love using soup mixes for new flavors in foods.

  3. DeeLish! Easy and tasty. I used a mix of thighs and breasts. A tsp of chicken bullion in the water. I served over rice. Even looked great. Cooking times right on. Not much more I can say but thanks for sharing that one!

  4. My family really liked this recipe. I used a package of Knorr Spring Vegetable Soup Mix because that was what I had on hand. I also forgot to add the dill and I think that would have been very good with this recipe. Thanks for a great and easy recipe

  5. I loved this chicken recipe! I used legs because I had them so I browned them in 1 tsp. lite margarine and 1 tsp. evoo. I used Knorr's Leek soup mix, added 1 Tbl. crushed red pepper flakes and a spash of white wine, then let it simmer for about 25 minutes covered, forgot the lemon and used lite sour cream. Served with whole wheat penne and spinich. This was delicious! It to me did not taste like my beloved long lost Chicken Tonight but it was VERY good and my family loved it, I will make this many times.

Tweaks

  1. Stirred in Soup mix, Water and 2 tbls of flour to add to browned chicken (omitted lemon). Reduced water to 1 1/2 cups. Omitted the step of mixing sour cream with dill and cornstarch. after removing chicken from pan and removing pan from heat. Add sour cream

I live near Rochester NY with my husband and our 18-year-old cat, Fluffy. It's actually Fluffy's house, but he allows us to live here as long as we pamper him and feed him generously. Our daughter, Kree, whom some of you know from Zaar, is also living with us again while she begins a new business venture in real estate. She's the one who got me hooked on Zaar and taught me to try new recipes rather than stay in the cooking rut I was in. In my free time I like to take long rides or sit by the water, both of which I find very relaxing. I also like to do counted cross-stitch and read. I dabble in photography, always looking for that elusive 'perfect' shot. I did more cooking before I started working full-time, and plan to again when I retire (still years away, but dreaming).
