  1. Thaw (if needed) and drain crabmeat.
  2. Blend softened cream cheese, chives,garlic powder and salt.
  3. Fold in crabmeat.
  4. Shape into a ball or log.
  5. Roll in pecans or parsley.
  6. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill.
  7. When ready to serve, unwrap and place on a serving dish.
  8. Let come to room temperature and serve with buttery crackers or fresh veggies.
