Cranberry Bars With Cream Cheese Frosting

"These bars are incredible. They are so rich with a shortbread like taste and the yummy cream cheese frosting on top. Even if you are not a big cranberry fan you will like these! A co-worker brought these to work and I kept sneaking more througout the day. I love them chilled. They are good anytime of year, but I especially love to make them in the fall and at Christmas."

  1. I've made these every thanksgiving for the last several years. I also take some to my offices every year. These are always a hit! My kids have been bugging me for weeks about making them. By far the best cranberry bars.

  4. Just made these bars for Thanksgiving and used my fresh cranberries. Did not even chop them. My Kitchen Aide mixer is the best! This is a great recipe especially the cream cheese frosting. I added some coconut and nuts to the frosting.
