Cranberry Blue Cheese Salad

"My favorite summer salad. Great for luncheons. Sometimes I substitute chopped pecans for the sunflower seeds. And I've also used a blue cheese vinaigrette rather than the creamy caesar. It's a very pretty salad and I get rave reviews every time I serve it."

  1. Very beautiful, festive-looking salad. Wonderful combination of flavors and suitable for company. I mixed the romaine lettuce and salad dressing together, plated the salad, then added the blue cheese, dried cranberries and sunflower seeds to the top of each serving.

  2. So simple to make but definitely company worthy! Loved the cranberry/blue cheese combination with the added crunch from sunflower seeds. Used T.Marzetti's Supreme Caesar which was quite good, and I don't usually care for premade salad dressing. Thanks for sharing the recipe! Made for PAC Fall 2007.
