Cranberry Cinnamon Bread (Bread Machine)

"This is so good. You may substitute raisins in place of the cranberries if you like. There is a Cranberry Bread that I buy at the store but it only comes out near the holidays and is very expensive. I love it but will never buy it again because this tastes almost like it and much better. It has just a hint of cinnamon and you can smell it when toasted. This is also good grilled with peanut butter, bananas, and honey."

  1. I made the large loaf, and it was tasty. Used frozen cranberries instead of dry (leftover from Thanksgiving that I needed to use lol). Next time (and there will be a next time), I will double the sugar and probably triple the cinnamon. Thanks Mimi!

  5. I made the medium one with my 750g bread machine, multigrain and light crust program. It rose very well to the top of my machine. The bread was super soft, but I personally will add more sugar and cranberry next time.

Tweaks

  1. As soon as I read this I ran downstairs to my kitchen and made it. It is really lovely bread. I made it by hand - to me baking bread is pure relaxation so no bread machine for this girl! Next time I will replace some of the water with orange juice and grate in some orange rind.

  2. more water and honey
