Directions

  1. Wash cranberries and pick over, removing any stems.
  2. Place in pot with the sugar.
  3. Zest the orange and add to mixture.
  4. Juice the orange into measuring cup, and add enough water to make 1 cup. Add to mixture.
  5. Add the salt and allspice.
  6. Bring to boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
  7. Simmer about 10 minutes until large bubbles stack up on each other.
  8. Stir in chopped pecans and remove from heat.
  9. Allow to cool, then refrigerate.
