  1. Love cranberries...This is good on your spring hams too. At turkey day time of the year I buy extra bags and throw them in the freezer so I can have them all year long. This relish is almost the same as mine but I add add an orange -- peel and all just grind them up with the rest. My mom used her hand meat grinder when we made this for Thanksgiving. I use a food processor. You may need to adjust the sugar... some cranberries are tarter than others.

  2. I don't care for cranberry relish, but I was asked to make it for a holiday dinner party. I found this easy recipe and thought it would do fine ..... I was right ~ it is actually very good. Because there is always the "canned vs fresh" war over cranberry sauce, I tossed a can of that cranberry jelly stuff into the mix ~ it was a hit! Too easy, gotta love it!

  3. Was going to post my recipe but found yours instead. Mine differs in that I use 1 pkg of cranberries, 1 apple (seeded but not peeled), and 1 cup of sugar. This relish is great on chicken or turkey sandwiches as well as with yogurt or granola.
