  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil over medium high heat.
  • Reduce heat and simmer on medium low heat for 20 minutes or until cranberries pop, stirring occasionally.

Although I do have a couple of favorite cranberry sauce recipes that we enjoy, I'm always happy to try another one, & since I keep bags of frozen berries around all year long, I have lots of opportunities to do just that! I did have some wonderful raw apple cider from our favorite apple orchard area, & that, along with your combo of brown & white sugar, made for a great tasting sauce!   2. Yummy, cranberry sauce the apple cider give it a nice flavor, sweet and tart. I served it with a green salad, peach glazed Cornish Game Hens,cornbread dressing,Aspargus, ginger glazed Carrots & tasty buns. This reciper is a keeper.
