- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1⁄4 small yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1⁄4 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1⁄4 small green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 3⁄4 cup crushed pineapple (well drained, VERY IMPORTANT)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 1⁄2 cups chopped walnuts (pecans work too if you prefer)
directions
- 1. Let cream cheese soften slightly so ingredients will mix well.
- 2. Add all ingredients to the cream cheese and mix well.
- 3. Form a ball with the cream cheese mixture.
- 4. Cover and refrigerate until it firms. (Usually only takes about 10 mins).
- 5. Cover the cheese ball with the chopped nuts.
- Serve with crackers, pita chips or toast points.
