"This cream cheese frosting has just a hint of citrus flavor and always comes out perfectly. Especially good for any cakes with fruit in them, such as apple or carrot, but I use this frosting for anything I feel like icing as well!"

  • Cream butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy.
  • Zest lemon (or lime or orange for different flavor) directly into butter/cream cheese.
  • Add lemon juice and mix well.
  • Gradually add sifted powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Try not to eat too much before you frost the cake!
