  1. Excellent recipe with good and easy directions which would be great for a beginning cook. But I did add salt & pepper, garlic & onion powder and topped it off with shredded cheddar cheese instead of pats of butter. I used about 1/4 cup of warm milk. Thanks!!!

  2. My family loves these to, we call them Potato Fluff, because they are so fluffy. We mix in Onion Salt when we make them for a little different flavor. Very good with meatloaf too.

  3. Nice recipe which made very rich potatoes. The kids loved them. I only used half the butter, and next time I would substitute low-fat cream cheese. I don't think it would affect the dish at all. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Made this last night for dinner when the hubby and kids complained about having plain old mashed potatoes again! It was delicious! Quick, simple, and very tasty! This one is a keeper! Thanks so much for this recipe. I did throw in some crumbled bacon left over from breakfast and it was super yummy!

  5. I too make these potatoes when we want a switch from regular 'old' mashed poatoes. The only thing I do differently is chop up some fresh green onions (usually one bunch for a big bowl of potatoes) and throw them in and mix it up right before serving. I usually make them when I make meatballs & gravy. Umm yummy!
