Cream Cheese Pound Cake

  • Beat butter and cream cheese with mixer, slowly, but well. Gradually add the sugar. Add in the eggs 1 at a time, mixing well after each one.
  • Combine flour and salt gradually, add that to the butter mixture. Beat slowly, beat very well.
  • Beat in vanilla, slowly, but well.
  • Pour into a greased and floured 10 inch bundt pan.
  • Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour 40 minutes.
  • Cool on a rack in the pan for 15- 20 minutes or until the pan is no longer hot.
  • Cool out of pan for 15 minutes before cutting.

  1. Very nice tasting pound cake, nothing extra fancy, just wonderfully moist & satisfying! I did serve it with a thick homemade mixed-berry sauce on the side, though I only had a small spoonful of that! The cake itself would have been just fine all by itself! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
