  1. I only had about 12 strawberries, so I had a lot of "cream" left, even though I cut down on the cool whip. They were delicious though! I used sf cheesecake pudding mix and would probable omit the almond extract next time so that I could taste the pudding itself. All in all, it was a delicious, low-sugar treat!

  2. Oh boy oh boy are these tasty treats! I served them to a group of high school students and they were devoured! The addition of the almond extract really makes the cream stand out with the strawberries. I was fortunate to get nice sweet strawberries in the winter (thank you California). I'll be making these again and again when strawberries are in season. Thanks so much for sharing this with us! Made through 123 Hits tag game. :)

  3. Oh, YUMMY! These filled strawberries were delicious! I liked the almond taste (and you could really taste it) but I might cut back a little on it next time or omit it for my fussy hubby. I might try vanilla extract or lemon extract for a change. I will make these again. They are elegant, tasty, fun and low calorie! Made for Photo Tag, 2/3/09 - NELady.

I am the mother of two beautiful boys. I love to bake and cook which has helped me to become very overweight. I have lost 50 pounds this past year and have been learning to cook "lighter". We still enjoy many of the same dishes we used to. However, I have learned portion control and how to make suttle changes to my recipes that don't affect the flavor.
