Directions

  1. Simmer butter, chicken base, salt& pepper,flour and onions until brown, (called a Rue).
  2. Add both milks; cook on medium heat.
  3. Cook until rich and thickened.
  4. Stirring constantly.
  5. Add broccoli pieces.
  6. Turn heat to low and simmer for 1 hour.
  7. Add cheese if you wish, I prefer the cheese some don't.
  8. Delicious!
