Ingredients Nutrition

  • 3 tablespoons whole millet (ground to make 1/4 C flour)
  • 1 cup water (divided)
  • 18-14 teaspoon salt
  • 14-12 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 tablespoon margarine or 12 tablespoon butter
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Bring 3/4 C of water to boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Mix remaining 1/4 C water with millet, salt and cinnamon; add to saucepan.
  3. Stir thoroughly, bring to a boil again and reduce to a simmer.
  4. Cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add butter and vanilla after pot is removed from the flame.
