  • Melt butter and sauté onion until transparent.
  • Add potato, watercress, milk and stock.
  • Bring to boil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes
  • Blend in a processor.
  • Add cream and seasoning. Heat if needed.

  1. What's with using metric in your recipe? Grams? Try using conventional measurements. Your recipe is unusable.
     
  2. Recipe is a keeper. Easy step by step guide. Fuss free preparation & quick cooking. Omitted heavy cream & substituted with some cheddar cheese. Added 1 bay leaf to simmer with the ingredients & chicken stock. Salt & black pepper with watercress garnish.
     
  3. Very easy and very yummy!!! I made double the amount and cut down on the butter. Did not add the double cream but it still tasted creamy.

How I rate... 5 stars - perfect, will make again without any changes. 4 stars - Liked it, will make again again but with changes. 3 stars - had to make major changes but got it to work. 2 stars - had to make major changes and it didn't work. 1 star - went terribly, a waste of time and ingredients, I cried, BF cried the cats cried you get the picture...
