  • Pit, peel, and mash the avocado with a fork.
  • Blend in the lemon juice, blending well and then add the sour cream, blending well.
  • Mix in all the rest of the ingredients, blending well.
  • Garnish with cilantro.
  • Cover and chill.

  1. I'm making something very similar! Sour cream, avacado, finely diced tomatoes (no seeds), finely diced cucumber, green onions diced, sauteed garlic, & salt. Skipping the bacon for now. It's for savory mini puff pastries.
     
  2. I left out the cucumbers because I don't like them. I think next time I will also leave out the bacon and double the recipe!

  4. Shy on the flavor factor, I thought it was a little too bland.
     
  5. To me this dip is to die for!!!! I loved it and so did everyone else. There was nothing left! I left out the cucumbers, by accident, but it still was great. Thanks once again Rita!
